The self-proclaimed „Home of the Adult Cartoon Comic Parody“ is Palcomix.com. Since 2004, these individuals have been producing comics. That amounts to more than a decade’s worth of mind-blowing original content. With just over 1 million site visits per month, it isn’t the biggest site in the world, but the community is pretty strong.
Site Feels Old and Hard to Find Content The site’s age is obvious when you first visit it. I had the impression that I had gone back in time to the early 2000s. I swear, I was afraid to go outside to see if anyone was wearing cargo pants, Ed Hardy shirts, and fauxhawks once more. Dark periods…dark periods However, this website looks about as bad as the people who were wearing that crap. The majority of the content is separated by orange, yellow, and black boxes on bright white background. if the content can even be found. This website is a total mess.
In addition to the age check at the beginning, the first thing you see is a large flashing box advertising a place called Peitro’s club. Based on what the advertisement says, it might have to do with getting personalized gifts and forum content. It has been blown up and you can click on it, but that does nothing. The advertisement’s ahegao girls are pretty hot, but I’d like to learn a little more about the first thing visitors to your website will see.
A few ads for artists can be found further down. These are decent. Even though it’s cool that they promote industry artists, you’ll notice that we haven’t found any content yet. Let’s investigate further and scroll further. You will be taken to an advertisement when you first click on the comic link, but you can get past it by clicking the link at the bottom of the page. There will be a list of thumbnails that you can click on once you get there. You can click it again to move on to the next story page after you’ve clicked on one. Support for the arrow keys would have been nice here so that I wouldn’t have to fiddle with my mouse while I was jerking around, but unfortunately, that is not possible.
The artwork is lovely, the comics load quickly, and the navigation is simple. If you want, you can skip pages or return to the thumbnail page. Only, you can’t go back without retyping in the website or pressing the back button on your browser. Yes, it is extremely awkward. Simply returning to the comics or home page is not an option.
A lively forum, confusing layout changes, a lack of a dedicated mobile site, and broken features are just a few of the drawbacks. „comics, gallery, forum, 3d modeling, Patreon, store, Pal Vip, and Mobius Unleashed“ are the tabs in the top bar. Why they even bother with a comics button is beyond me. It doesn’t work at all. The comics page serves as the home page; however, if you attempt to click that button on any of the other tabs that actually retain the original menu, you will simply be taken to an error page. I get that this is a smallish site with novice site plan, however getting around here is disappointing.
You can access a different website called jabarchives.com from the gallery page. You will be taken to the personal gallery page of Palcomix’s owner from this location. They have posted two impressive galleries in 2015 and 2017. How to remain current. Another unimportant tab. The forum page is at least understandable. It’s been done well and posted in. countless threads and posts from just today. You can talk about comics, artists, collaborations, and more in threads. The colors scheme, logo, and menus change when you go to this page, and sometimes these pages have different sub-menu options. It’s extremely perplexing.
The page for 3D modeling follows next. Similar to the gallery tab, this works. This takes you to a third website, sketchfab.com, where you can view the owner’s private 3D modeling gallery. Although it’s cool, it’s not really porn. It more closely resembles semi-lewd material like deviant art. If you want a particular character modeled for 3D printing or something else, the owner of the website does take commissions, which is cool.
We can skip over the Patreon page because it is a Patreon page. At this time, the store tab is of no use. Even though the store is closed, it also takes you to jabarchives. Therefore, nobody knows what they even have. My guess is that premium comics can be purchased on CDs and DVDs or as digital downloads. Since the price is down, I can’t say much about it, but I don’t think it’s too expensive. Additionally, the final two pages for Mobius unleashed and Pal VIP both charge a fee to access various websites. VIP grants access to the larger HentaiKey network, whereas Mobius appears to be just a few sites that all feature porn comics.
It is not really worth using the mobile website. It’s not like it’s full of intrusive advertisements, but it’s just not done well or at all. It is identical to the desktop website. It’s not fun to use because you have to zoom in really far to use it. Although the website is mobile-friendly in every way, it is not even worth the effort. They ought to eventually release a mobile-specific design for the website.
ThePornDude’s Favorite Features and Suggestions This time around, I really don’t have any favorites. I’ve seen other sites with better management perform most of what they do here better. The content is good, and the artists who make it are supported, but that’s all there is to it. It is a poorly designed website with numerous obvious flaws. Pop-up advertisements and other similar features are absent at the very least. Additionally, I don’t want to dwell too much on the site issues once more. I’ve gone into great detail above about them.
The Conclusions of The PornDude In general, palcomix.com—sometimes spelled incorrectly as „Pal Comics“—could use some improvement. If this is your thing, they do have some great free porn comics here, but I would still recommend looking elsewhere. There are other websites that perform the same functions as palcomix but better. However, I think it’s worth checking out the forum. However, see for yourself! You might like it better than I did, who knows?
