When I visit any subreddit, one of my favorite things to consider is the state of its segments. There are some ups and downs with the Hot, Rising, New, and Controversial segments. Going through these segments can be challenging, and I believe there are numerous ways in which they could be improved. For example, there is a lot of bad content in the New section, but the Hot segment doesn’t always fix the problem, even though it should.
